    The music was already nice at that time. Glad i've found this game, back in Alpha 5 ! I've played quite a lot on different Alpha since then, and I'm now waiting for the full version to play it again.

    I don't really like having a beard on my Keeper. I would prefer the previous one, or something more faceless anyway. Keeper, for male, female or anything else, fits well, i think (but i'm not a native english speaker).

    Yep, i did. I didn't express myself in a good way however.

    I meant, Steam is a third party program, even without DRM it would be a must-have to download and update KeeperRL. Some people may want to play KeeperRL without having to install Steam. I suppose some players are still not “Steamers”. I myself use Steam, Desura, GOG, and non-attached games too, so i'm a “Steamer” in some extend.

    Anyway…

    More choices > Steam.

    Steam is fine, but Steam is DRM.

    Yep, same complain about the “pocket of hills”, otherwise it seems good and interesting.

    What about exploiting the Figurines idea more ? One of the Figurines can attract some kind of caravan, with goods to buy or sell, or simply attract caravan to get a certain amout or ores.

    Yes… It's effective but ugly.

    So now i place one torch in the middle. It's certainly not the most effective way to do it, but it's better looking… Or also, i place torches in corner, but again it's not super effective. I'd like to place torch on the celling, but the game can't handle that i guess.

    What about light “inside” the wall ? Or luminescent walls ? Or a creature walking around the room you place it, making light ?

    Hi,

    If you don't want players to have to read manual, then don't write a manual, just make gameplay. Other players will write something, give tips, create wiki, and so on. Let them (let us) discover that a 5×5 workshops room is less efficient than a 4×20, and a 9×9 library is not enough for maximum research but 15×15 is too much… It works good with many good games, like Dwarf Fortress or Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead. You make the game as deep as you wish, and the players discover the rules.

    A little bit too shiny maybe, but why not ! I think we need to see it ingame, with a real mock up or a quick test, to see if it fits.

    Actually i think the current UI is not so bad and fits with the general feeling of the game. Instead of spending time on the IU, maybe simply focus on gameplay and content ?

    – Release the beast : summon a beast that attacks the player or the IA. Can be put together with the confinment trap.
    – Well traped : the floor opens on an empty well, making a prisonner if “saved”, or a dead if forgotten.
