Its a roguelike, difficulty is part of the game, use potions and items and mushrooms intelligently and the game is fun.better yet, play with full handicap if you cant take the difficulty. 8)
I enjoy adventurer mode, but you have to have a retired dungeon before playing it.
same thing happening to me, first time playing, game easy as heck I win easily with no attacks, me“meh”.
