Steam key is included, whichever method you use to buy the game.
The source code of KeeperRL can be found here. The repository contains the latest development code. You can download it with the following command:
git clone https://github.com/miki151/keeperrl.git
Instructions on how to compile KeeperRL on Windows can be found here.
Please note that the source distribution doesn’t contain music and graphical tiles. The game works fine without them in ASCII mode. If you want the source code with the graphics you must purchase the game.
I’m pleased to inform that you can also get a copy of KeeperRL by donating $20 to any wildlife charity. My suggestion is the Wildlife Conservation Society. You are also welcome to donate to animal rescue or your local animal shelter!
Please forward the confirmation email from the charity to miki@keeperrl.com, and I’ll promptly send you a Steam activation key or link to the standalone version.
So far $900 has been donated!
