    I’ve been experiencing this in Alpha17, free / ascii version.

    It occurs consistently with throwing, and also with directional spell casting. The prompt for “select direction” is displayed, and it crashes when I am moving the mouse but before clicking.

    I have not tried selecting direction with keyboard, but I’m reasonably certain that mouse movement is the common trigger.

    I think this is the correct stack trace from it (after a directional spell caused a crash), but I didn’t get to registering on the forum here immediately and so I’m not 100% certain any more:

    I’d also like to add that this game is amazing, and I’ll be buying the paid version as soon as I get my steam regions sorted out. Possibly more fun and certainly much higher replay factor than it’s eponymous forebarers. Looking forward to seeing it expand and grow!
