Did it crash after you chose the mushroom from inventory or before?

What kind of creature were you controlling?

    I was using the keeper

From inventory screen chose the mushroom and apply and no crash.  Then tried throw and I was returned to the game screen and prompted for a direction and then crashed

I tried different ways to repeat this, but no luck. Let me know if it happens again.

It happens every time I try it.

Alpha 7 graphics mode the problem doesn't exist.  So it appears in the ascii mode only thus far.

I also tried it in the adventure mode and it happens there consistently also

Oh ok, ASCII mode again. Fixed it. There's one more bug I need to fix and then I'll reupload.

    Thanks for reporting.

I’ve been experiencing this in Alpha17, free / ascii version.

It occurs consistently with throwing, and also with directional spell casting. The prompt for “select direction” is displayed, and it crashes when I am moving the mouse but before clicking.

I have not tried selecting direction with keyboard, but I’m reasonably certain that mouse movement is the common trigger.

I think this is the correct stack trace from it (after a directional spell caused a crash), but I didn’t get to registering on the forum here immediately and so I’m not 100% certain any more:

I’d also like to add that this game is amazing, and I’ll be buying the paid version as soon as I get my steam regions sorted out. Possibly more fun and certainly much higher replay factor than it’s eponymous forebarers. Looking forward to seeing it expand and grow!
