Left-Handed UI

Hello, currently, I’m running the free ASCCII version, and I’m running into an issue with the UI coming up on the left side, rather then the right side as all the screenshots, videos, and other such things on Steam shows. While I cannot currently purchase the game itself, I’d like to play the game with the ASCCI, but am growing increasingly frustrated with the left-handed menu.

I’ve tried so many things to try to shift the side of the menu shows up on in the actual game and found (so far) that there’s no way to do it. At least, none that I can find.

If there is, then could someone tell me how? If there isn’t, then I’d request that become an option in future builds.

The menu side was changed a long time ago, and the screenshots are out of date. There is no way to change it, sorry.

While you’re working on the UI (as per news post), perhaps you could add in a setting to change it from a left-handed menu to a right-handed menu, keep both options but allow the player to pick which side they want their UI to appear on. Since not everyone is left handed, and the fact that it’s not an option is extremely glaring.

I’m not quite sure why it was changed in the first place, but I haven’t been following the game very long. I’d just prefer the menu being on the right then the left, as many games normally go with.

The UI code is not flexible enough to have such an option, sorry. My resources to work on this kind of extra stuff are very limited.
