Hooray! I had my first win earlier today.

I kept getting steamrolled by the elves (particularly the elf lord) every time I tried to raid their town. Finally got wise to the fact that I could virtually never land a hit on the elf lord, and he'd heal up / teleport / narrowly escape every time I landed a spell on him. Cast invisibility on a few folk and took his head right off. Then, the humans / knights fell pretty rapidly after my army was all leveled up and kicking butt.
Went on to post-game, killed the dragon, cyclops, cleared out all of the “?” spaces in the mountain, and generally obliterated everything that I came across.

It was an incredibly fun, frustrating, and fantastic experience. Definitely on board for future developments 🙂
