The next update is still pretty far away, but here's a glimpse of what's already done. It will be a content heavy update with a few mysteries and hidden areas, so stop reading if you don't want to spoil yourself!
- Cemetery with an extra underground crypt level where you can recruit some extra powerful undead minions.
- Gnomish mines, a dungeon branch with Mine Town at the bottom (or not), where you can purchase all sorts of inventions developed by gnomes (who will play a much more important role from now on).
- The elementalist, new enemy who lives in a tower and can cause a fair amount of havoc if he starts summoning his minions near your base.
- Friendly villages where you can recruit minions for money.
- Tree spirit village.
- Enemy types placed on map are now just a random subset of all enemies that the game offers.
- Multiple highscore tables (for now keepers, adventurers and keeper 'speed runs').
- Retired maps list shows the total number of adventurer games played, and the number of games won. Maps are sorted by the total number of games.
- Whipping order to keep your minion happy.
August 19th
- Ransoms: some enemies will offer you to pay them in gold for not attacking.
- Trading: buying items from shops in friendly villages (without having to walk to the shop in person!)
- Minotaur, hydra, giant spider villains.
- Detailed information on what triggered enemy attacks.
- Ant nest.
- Filling up tunnels. You won't be able to cut off any area though.
- WASD scrolling as option (in this mode building shortcuts are accessed through alt + letter)
