Just paid $20 for this and can’t get it to run. Why can’t you just make a normal application?

Any way the very unhelpful message just says,

Download. Unzip. Go into the directory.

    Mac: run keeper_mac.command
    Windows: run keeper.exe64-bit
    Linux: run ./keeper_lin64.sh

    Play 🙂

I’ve tried clicking every one in the directory and none work.

The one in the main folder,

/Applications/keeperRL_alpha31_3/keeper_mac.command: line 2: cd: osx: No such file or directory
/Applications/keeperRL_alpha31_3/keeper_mac.command: line 3: ./keeper: No such file or directory
    logout
    Saving session…
    …copying shared history…
    …saving history…truncating history files…
    …completed.

The one in the osx folder,

    sigh….

The developer worked with me via email to fix the problem.

    Thanks.

Hello wiz123, Could you share how you fixed this error? I’m getting the same thing. Thanks.

    Hi,

Opening mac terminal, typing: cd /Applications/keeperRL_alpha31_3/; ./keeper_mac.command

Unfortunately you have to do this every time you want to run the game, but its better than nothing.

Hopefully the developer will find a better solution.
